Reviews
Your average fun indoor soft play area, I have to admitt the private family seating rooms on the side are in much urgent need of some serious TLC, walls had what appeared to be food (had no idea what it was) stuck on it, the pink lounger chair was broken, floor needed a clean.
Maybe introduce a sweet assortment of cakes to accompany the beverages, other than kiddies enjoyed the small selection of slides, ball pits & slides, for 2 hours you do get your moneys worth, adults accompanying kids have to pay £1, children over 5 pay £8, under 5 pay £7 & under 1 pay £3. If suggestions are implemented, it could become a lovely fun spot for kiddies x
Unacceptable levels of cleanliness- the entire soft play is filthy and needs a deep clean. There are also safety issues - my 1 year old tried to put his hand through the netting to touch a battery that was still connected. Much improvement needed.
After having a party hosted by Selina one of the managers at monster mayhem . She had everything on point for the party , kids entertained , speed of food for the kids . In flow without asking.
There’s many soft plays that are available however what brings people back is the teams efforts and Selina who makes the experience for the family and kids fun. Many other soft play, don’t have the customer service , and leave parties to run and sometime make things difficult . Monster mayhem , Selina gives you the full experience .
My only concern I noticed was children going to the toilets by themselves and not with a grown up I was sat for a small while where I observed kids coming to the toilets and grown ups using the toilets , it may not seem a big issue but I would strongly recommend a entry rules for no parents that children must not be left alone by the play area or the toilet areas.
It’s a suggestion , however would highly recommend the soft play for parties and definitely ask for Selina to host she is the most courteous and energetic and enthusiastic personality.
Selina is the lady in this place . Great organising skills.
Thank you Selina
Great experience
It was my daughter 7th Birthday celebration with her few friends .
It's a real treat for the young ones. Played till they were tired. Food for the kids was tasty, fresh and warm. Overall it was a great day for them,
thanks to all Staff especially Selina 👏👏👏🙏
I have been here a few times now and my 2.5 year always had the best time here. We usually go on weekdays and it's not too crowded. Can't imagine the weekend mayhem though. The place looked apparently clean on last visit but a busy soft play can never be super sanitized, something to bear in mind.
On my visits I have never needed to interact with the staff apart from ticketing so xant say about their service.
Price of tickets is okay. I don't agree with charging parents as well on peak because it's the kids that overcrowd the place not the parents. There should probably be a limit to total number of kids of inside at a time.after that they should stop giving out tickets.
Invited to a birthday party but there was a double booking. So we had to wait for the party room to be clear. The children all played. The room was sorted by Selina and she was really good in keeping us informed about what was going on. Once the room was ready the party commenced. Thanks Selina for fixing the problem.
This is by far the worst play area I have ever been to. The place is absolutely filthy, dust and grime everywhere, food in-between the playmats, chewing gum and sticky substances everywhere, tables also filled with food, floors were vile and my first thought when I walked in was how foul it smelt. It looks like it hasn't ever been cleaned. I needed to change my daughters nappy so I went somewhere else because if the play area was anything to go by I dread to think what the toilets looked like. Judging from others reviews I made the right choice.
Also of the 3 electric motorbikes 2 of them were 'out of order' and the one that was working you had to pay an extra £1 for after paying £12 to get in with my two kids.
I wouldn't recommend anyone taking their children here because it's completely filthy. Management need to take note of their customers reviews and close the play area for deep cleaning and health and safety checks because the place is utter filth.
This place is definitely Mahem. This was the first time I had been here and I was shocked at what I saw. There was chaos! There far too many children on then should have been allowed.
Hygiene - the place smelt of smelly socks. The mats and the frames don’t seem like they get a wipe. In general the whole place just seemed dirty.
Frames - there were far too many children on the frames. It was in fact a health hazard. The bouncy part of it - didn’t have enough air and felt flimsy.
Cost - the cost of this compared to others was far more - even charging for a month old baby who would not be going on anything.
Food - the tables were dirty and needed a clean. The food itself was also overly priced for a children’s play centre.
Staff - are no where to be seen. And when you do find someone they are so unhelpful. The manager herself was unprofessional shouting at staff in front of customers.
Overall, it wasn’t a pleasant visit and I will not be going back. The place needs to disinfected and some proper rules in pace. I am surprised there has not been a serious accident here.
